Four rules for picking a domain you won't regret
Short beats clever
If someone has to spell it over the phone twice, it's too long. Aim for two or three syllables.
Match your trading name
Your domain should be the name customers already use for you — not a keyword-stuffed variation.
Buy the obvious variants
Grab .co.uk and .com if you can. Point the spares at your main site so nobody else can use them.
Avoid hyphens and numbers
They get lost in conversation, misheard in adverts and mistyped constantly.
